Proximity switches can be used when querying individual coupling steps. (Status engaged / disengaged)

Remote monitoring of the coupled condition

For equipment which is remotely monitored or controlled automatically, the proper line connection must be checked. To do this, quick couplers are equipped with proximity switches, limit switches or pneumatic actuators to facilitate monitoring.
